Alcatraz

Alcatraz is a composition for six musicians and four loudspeakers by Willem Schulz and myself. It is based on an original recording made by me off the coast of the former prison island of Alcatraz in December 2001, featuring variations on the theme.

Recorded on 21 May 2026 at TOR 6 in Bielefeld during a concert by the Cooperativa Ensemble.
