In January 2020, I traveled for 4 weeks to Sri Lanka. The journey takes me around the island and transverse through. I dive into a Buddhist festival in Kelaniya for a few days and hold on to the north and northeast of the country, the area, which is particularly influenced by the Civil War and where there are roadblocks through the military until today. The country is not only shaped by the Civil War, but also by the Tsunami 2004 and the migration from the land, triggered by the economic situation.
