Travel to Japan … and back

From August 2023 to August 2024 I was on a travel for a year. The journey took me from the Caspian Sea in Kazakhstan through Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Tibet, Hong Kong, Macao, again China, Taiwan, again China, South Korea to Japan.

I stayed there for three months before returning via South Korea, crossing the Russian Federation and finally via Estonia and Latvia back to Germany.

The trip was a research project to collect materials for the sound installation from here….
