Auf der Suche nach einem Ausdruck von Spiritualität ohne den Glauben an einen
Gott wird Klangmaterial unterschiedlicher Religionsausübungen collagiert. Einzelne spezifische Botschaften sowie eventuelle Exotik kommen dadurch abhanden,
werden durch die Gleichberechtigung aller zur Verfügung stehenden Klänge
enttraditionalisiert, so dass sich schließlich progressive und konservative Kräfte gegenseitig aufheben. Nach einem Gedicht von
William Blake.

Das Stück wird am 5.9.2026 um 23 Uhr beim diesjährigen Supersonique Festival in Marseille aufgeführt.

Auguries of Innocence

In the search for an expression of spirituality without belief in a
God, sound material from various religious practices is collaged together. Individual specific messages, as well as any sense of exoticism, are thereby lost;
they are ‘detraditionalised’ by the equal treatment of all available sounds,
so that, ultimately, progressive and conservative forces cancel each other out. Based on a poem by
William Blake.

The piece will be performed on 5 September 2026 at 11 p.m. at Festival Supersonique in Marseille
