Time and space are the vectors for all movement. Sound in its fragility is a major expression to work on these vectors. Movement is life.
My different projects are based on these vectors. Their focuses are the development of societies, current social structures, architecture, the origin of places as well as the outlook of inhabitants for the future.
Further on I focus on the sound itself: its origin, its context, the change of environmental sound, the change of perception when sounds are brought into new contexts.
How does the space influence sound? And vice versa sound the space? Questions I explore in installations as well as in improvisations.
The border between sound and music is another main interest. And to cross it back and forth. From analytic listening to awareness of sound.
My work is based on own field recordings and interviews.
