My compositions of electro-acoustic music are all generated out of own field recordings. They are stereo or octophonic works.

Depending on the theme of the composition I choose the originate of the sounds (e.g. sounds symbolising the theme, like an account statement printer as a symbol for cashless money transfer).

A difference to compositions for music instruments is that the source has already its structure. Every sound has to be examined if it fits in musical terms into the composition. The result of processing field recordings is unpredictable.

As in all my works the field recordings can be processed or left unprocessed.
